In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee has closely followed its functions and led the Political Department to promote its role as a research, advisory and proposal agency to the Provincial Military Party Committee and the Head of the Provincial Military Command on issues related to leadership in the implementation of local military and defense tasks and Party and political activities in the provincial armed forces.

The Party Committee of the Department always completes its tasks well and excellently. The Department has achieved comprehensive strength, in which in 2021, 2022 and 2024 it achieved the title of "Victory Unit", in 2020 it was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Provincial People's Committee, from 2021-2024 it was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Political Department clearly identified two breakthroughs. That is to continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of staff work, guidance and direction of Party and political activities in the provincial armed forces. At the same time, improve the leadership capacity of grassroots Party organizations, build a contingent of cadres to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Attending and giving a speech at the Congress, Colonel Nguyen Xuan Toan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, praised the outstanding achievements of the Political Department Party Committee in the past term. In the new term, the Party Committee needs to closely follow reality, do a good job of advising the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command in leading and directing all Party and political activities closely to the characteristics and situation of the unit.

Strengthen the management of political and ideological situations and discipline management in the spirit of "Self-awareness and strictness", especially in departments working far from direct management. Strictly implement regulations on organizational structure to ensure effective work, promote the spirit of working in accordance with responsibilities, tasks and assignments, ensuring 6 clear "Clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority".

Promote the vanguard and exemplary role of cadres and party members; link the assessment of cadre and party member quality with the planning, training and use of cadres and employees. Pay attention to creating a source of young cadres with adequate qualities and capacity; improve the quality of inspection and supervision work, strictly maintain Party discipline, and build a clean and strong Party organization.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 comrades; elected the Delegation to attend the Provincial Military Party Congress, consisting of 15 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates, with a high number of votes of confidence.
