Attending the Congress were comrades representing the leaders of the City Party Committee, the State Bank Party Committee of Region 6, along with 194 official delegates, representing party members in the entire Party Committee.
The Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 6 was established under Decision No. 151-QD/DU dated May 12, 2025 of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City, on the basis of merging the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam Hai Phong City and the Party members of the State Bank branches in the following provinces: Quang Ninh, Hai Duong , Thai Binh, Hung Yen. The Party Committee is directly under the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City. Immediately after its establishment, the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 6 focused on effectively leading and directing the operations of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 6 Branch, striving to complete the goals and tasks in the 2020-2025 term.
As of May 31, 2025, the total mobilized capital in the area managed by State Bank Region 6 reached VND 1,133,750 billion, an increase of 58% compared to the end of 2020; outstanding credit reached VND 891,372 billion, an increase of 78.8%.
In Hai Phong city, total mobilized capital reached VND 379,230 billion, up 59.55%; outstanding credit reached VND 284,255 billion, up 117.86%. In Hai Duong province, mobilized capital reached VND 225,625 billion, up 62.5%; outstanding credit reached VND 159,510 billion, up 76.6% compared to the end of 2020. All indicators show positive signals in expanding banking activities and serving local socio -economic development.
In Party building work, the SBV Party Committee of Region 6 continues to innovate its leadership methods in a proactive, flexible and creative manner. The implementation of Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee in conjunction with Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo has been carried out seriously and synchronously at affiliated Party cells. Party member development work has been focused on. From 2020 to present, the Party Committee has admitted 30 new Party members, of which the largest number is in Hai Phong city with 11 Party members.
At the Congress, delegates focused on discussing and agreeing on the goals, directions, and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. They emphasized the need to thoroughly grasp and promptly implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress, the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, and the programs and action plans to implement the Resolution.
The Congress determined to continue strengthening the Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, and organization, associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle; innovating the content and leadership methods of Party committees at all levels; widely launching emulation movements, striving to comprehensively complete the goals and tasks set forth in the Congress Resolution.
The Congress determined a number of specific targets for the 2025-2030 term, including striving for the Party Committee to achieve or better completion of its tasks every year; 100% of its subordinate Party cells and Party members to achieve or better completion of their tasks; and completing the target of admitting new Party members according to the plan assigned by the Party Committee of the City People's Committee.
The Party Committee of the State Bank of Region 6 continues to lead and direct the full and timely implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and the State Bank's directions on currency and banking activities in the area. In particular, focusing on thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development. Strive to ensure stable and effective banking activities in Region 6; smooth operation of the payment system; absolute safety of treasury operations.
At the Congress, with high consensus, delegates voted to approve the draft Resolution of the Congress of the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 6. The Congress also announced the Personnel Decision and introduced the Executive Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 6 for the 2025-2030 term, appointed by the higher-level Party Committee./.
