Dak Lak: Calling on all people to protect national security

On June 12, the Provincial Party Committee - Provincial People's Council - Provincial People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province issued a letter calling on all people to protect national security.

The appeal letter stated that on the morning of June 11, in Cu Kuin district (Dak Lak province), a group of armed individuals attacked the police headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, causing casualties to a number of commune police officers, commune officials and residents. The people of all ethnic groups in the province were very angry about the illegal acts of this group.

Immediately after the incident, under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dak Lak province; along with the active support of the people in Cu Kuin district, the functional forces urgently arrested the subjects and are resolutely pursuing the remaining subjects to strictly handle them according to the provisions of the law.

Local authorities have implemented measures to stabilize the situation, promptly visited and supported families of the deceased and injured; informed and encouraged people to stay calm, not to panic, and follow the instructions of the authorities.

The Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province strongly condemn the acts of attacking the headquarters of state agencies, killing people, and seriously violating the law committed by the group of subjects; at the same time, would like to share the pain and great loss of the families of the police officers, officials and people.

The Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province calls on the people, comrades and soldiers in the province to unite, trust in the Party's guidelines and policies, the leadership of the Party Committees and the administration of the authorities at all levels. Actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security", promote the strength of the all-people national defense posture associated with solid people's security; coordinate and support functional forces in performing their duties; join hands to help and share the loss and pain with the families of police officers, cadres and people who were victims; work and produce with peace of mind, contributing to the stability and development of the locality. Do not post or share related information on social networks without verification, affecting the performance of tasks of functional forces and causing confusion and anxiety among the people; Raise vigilance, absolutely "do not listen, do not believe, do not follow" reactionary subjects, hostile forces taking advantage of the situation to distort, entice and oppose local authorities, causing political insecurity in the area.

With the tradition of patriotism and solidarity under the leadership of the Party, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in the province, we will certainly overcome all difficulties and challenges to build Dak Lak province to develop more and more.

Previously, as reported by SGGP Newspaper, on the morning of June 11, Dak Lak Provincial Police reported to the Ministry of Public Security about the incident in which a group of unknown individuals attacked the headquarters of the People's Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, killing and injuring a number of commune police officers, commune officials, and residents.

Immediately afterwards, the Ministry of Public Security directed the Dak Lak Provincial Police and professional units to deploy to arrest the group of subjects causing the incident. During the day, the Ministry of Public Security issued a notice asking people in Cu Kuin district and neighboring areas to remain calm, not panic, and follow the requests of local authorities and functional forces. By the evening of June 12, 27 subjects related to the incident had been arrested by the police force.
