Traffic police captain in Dak Lak returned nearly 30 million VND to the person who lost it.

On the morning of August 26, Captain Kieu Thanh Hung (officer of Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Province) handed over nearly 30 million VND to Mr. Phan Ngoc Hung (44 years old, residing in Hoa Tien Commune, Krong Pak District). This is the amount of money Captain Kieu Thanh Hung picked up on the afternoon of August 21 while on patrol.

Receiving the money back from Captain Kieu Thanh Hung, Mr. Phan Ngoc Hung said that this was a large amount of money for the whole family, and he was very touched and grateful for Captain Kieu Thanh Hung's actions.

“That day, while I was on my way home from cutting durian, I dropped some money. I only discovered it when I got home. Then, I saw it in the newspaper and contacted Mr. Hung, who gave me specific instructions on how to get it back,” Mr. Phan Ngoc Hung added.

Previously, at around 2:20 p.m. on August 21, while patrolling and controlling traffic on Highway 26, Captain Kieu Thanh Hung discovered a stack of money dropped on the side of the road.

Immediately afterwards, Captain Kieu Thanh Hung coordinated with the Ea Knuec Commune Police (Krong Pak District) to count the pile of money totaling 29 million VND and sealed it according to regulations. Captain Kieu Thanh Hung also reported the entire incident to his superiors to find the person who dropped it and return it.

While patrolling on Highway 26, Captain Kieu Thanh Hung (Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Province Police) picked up a stack of 29 million VND and is looking for the owner of this money to return it.
