General Trinh Van Quyet and his delegation visited and presented gifts to former Politburo members: General Pham Van Tra, former Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Party Committee (now the Central Military Commission), former Minister of National Defense; General Ngo Xuan Lich, former Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, former Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, former Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, General Trinh Van Quyet reported to General Pham Van Tra, General Ngo Xuan Lich, and Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan on the outstanding results in the implementation of military and defense tasks, Party activities, and political work of the entire army since the beginning of 2025, especially the training for the parade, marching, and preparation for the upcoming 80th National Day Celebration of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

General Trinh Van Quyet affirmed that in the process of performing its tasks, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have always received the attention of leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and Army, including many valuable contributions from General Pham Van Tra, General Ngo Xuan Lich and Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, especially in the task of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army, well meeting the requirements of assigned tasks in all situations.

General Ngo Xuan Lich expressed his joy and excitement at the results that the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have led and directed the entire army to achieve in recent times.

General Trinh Van Quyet wished the senior leaders good health, continued attention and intellectual contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause and the cause of building the Army; together with the Central Military Commission and the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, to lead and direct the entire army to successfully carry out all assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people.

General Trinh Van Quyet asked about his health and sent his best wishes to Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan and his family.
