Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Nha commune, said that industry - handicrafts - construction accounts for 63.77% of the local economic structure. In recent years, the locality has implemented synchronous solutions to promote economic growth, encourage investment and promote industrial promotion effectively.

Since then, many businesses in the area such as Dai Dong Tuynel Brick Company, Nghia Tin Bamboo and Rattan, Dai Dong Mineral Exploitation Company Limited, Prime Dai Loc Joint Stock Company, Prime Dai Quang Joint Stock Company, Chau Hoa Garment Company have recovered and developed strongly, contributing significantly to local economic growth.

The whole commune currently has 321 small-scale handicraft production establishments, of which household and individual economies account for more than 90%, creating jobs for about 2,000 local workers.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ha Nha Commune Party Committee aims for an average economic growth rate of more than 15% per year. By 2030, the industry - handicraft - construction sector will account for about 70%; trade - services will account for 25%; the rest will be agriculture - forestry and fishery.

Mr. Mai Thanh Sang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nha Commune, said that to realize this goal, the locality will focus on mobilizing, exploiting and effectively using resources, especially developing the private economy, creating a driving force for breakthroughs. The locality will mobilize resources to invest in building infrastructure for the Dong - Quang industrial cluster and park; promote the development of the mining industry, production and transportation of raw materials, and advantageous small-scale handicraft industries.

Although the agricultural sector accounts for a low proportion in the economic structure, Ha Nha commune still aims to maintain an annual cultivated area of 2,585 hectares, of which rice land is 1,108 hectares and colored land is 1,477 hectares.

The locality currently maintains 35-40 hectares of high-value crops; the total average grain output is about 65,000 tons/year. Notably, the locality has 7 certified OCOP products, all of which originate from local agricultural products.

“We aim to develop agriculture towards sustainable commodities, focusing on improving quality, developing clean agriculture associated with building OCOP products; effectively promoting model fields, forming specialized production areas... This is an opportunity for Ha Nha to promote its existing potential and advantages, and grow strongly in the coming time,” said Mr. Sang.

Ha Nha commune will promote the development of forestry economy, especially planting large timber forests; tighten forest management and protection; prioritize resource allocation and mobilize contributions from the whole society to build a commune that meets advanced new rural standards by 2030...
