Vinh University pushes back on information about handling 2 officials accused of "seducing" female students

(Dan Tri) - Regarding the case of two Vinh University officials accused of "seducing" female students, the school representative was evasive and passed information about how to handle these officials.

On June 24, Dan Tri reporter contacted Mr. Nguyen Huu Bang, Principal of Vinh University to verify the next handling of Mr. D.X.D., (student management assistant) and Mr. NNQ, (Head of one-stop department of the General Administration Department), accused of "seducing" female students.

The principal of Vinh University instructed reporters to contact the person assigned to be the university’s spokesperson. However, this person only replied “unclear”.

Previously, as Dan Tri reported, a female student of class 65 of Vinh University "accused" an officer of the General Administration Department of touching and verbally soliciting her while she was requesting notarization of her transcript.

Later, a student of class 64 of Vinh University also "accused" that the student management staff harassed him by sending him sensitive messages, photos, and threats during the disciplinary process due to academic violations.

The posts of two female students on social networks caused a stir in public opinion.

Grasping the information of the incident through the reflection of the above female students, Vinh University established an inspection team to verify the incident. Determining that Mr. Q. and Mr. D. were related to the above accusation, the school leadership decided to temporarily suspend these two officials.
