On the afternoon of July 11, Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Member of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee and Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen, full-time Member of the National Assembly Economic and Financial Committee, had a meeting with voters in La Gi ward after the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, National Assembly delegate Pham Thi Hong Yen informed about the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. In addition, voters also heard a summary report on the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province (new) at the session.

At the meeting, voters of La Gi ward expressed their agreement with the policy of streamlining the payroll, streamlining the apparatus, and operating effectively and efficiently according to the major reform orientation of the Party and the State. Voters acknowledged the enthusiastic spirit of the two-level government system after the merger, and at the same time expected the new apparatus to operate impartially, not locally, and join hands to build the homeland to develop more and more.

However, in addition to support, voters also expressed some concerns and recommendations related to benefits, policies and regimes after the organizational restructuring. Specifically, for the old communes before the merger with many special positions, voters requested to clarify the regime, funding and benefits for the cadres who have held and are holding these positions, because currently some cadres do not have a clear understanding of the information, leading to confusion. Regarding the non-professional cadres, many voters were concerned that this force was not arranged to continue working after the merger, but during their previous work, they did not pay social insurance, leading to difficulties in establishing policies and regimes when they retire.

In addition, voters in La Gi ward reported that they participate in health insurance every year but when they go to the doctor, the medicine is limited, and they even have to buy more medicine outside the list. Voters requested that National Assembly deputies pay attention and reflect to have appropriate adjustment solutions. Voters also said that in recent times, the field of supporting poor and near-poor households in the area has received attention from the Party and State, especially in the housing construction support program.
However, in reality, some houses built on agricultural land have not been converted to land use purposes because people are too poor and do not have the financial conditions to carry out conversion procedures according to regulations. Voters earnestly request National Assembly deputies and competent authorities to consider and have policies to provide additional support or exempt or reduce land conversion costs for poor households and households with special difficulties, helping them to stabilize their long-term housing, confidently develop their economy, and escape poverty sustainably.

Receiving opinions and recommendations from voters of La Gi ward, representatives of relevant departments and branches, together with local leaders, frankly discussed, explained and clarified the contents under the authority of the locality and specialized agencies, in order to help people understand current policies and regulations.

Recording and explaining the opinions of voters, Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, said: For associations with special characteristics, if the person holding the position is a cadre, civil servant, or official who is mobilized, appointed, or officially recruited, he or she will enjoy full benefits and policies according to regulations. In the case of joining the association after retirement or not being officially recruited, he or she is not included in the current framework of full-time cadres. However, the province has submitted a proposal to the Central Government to consider and supplement appropriate support policies for those who have worked in the association for a long time (10-15 years or more) to recognize their contributions and ensure their legitimate rights.
In addition, he also provided more information on some specific recommendations such as: the regime for non-professional staff after the merger, the inadequacy in the distribution of health insurance drugs, and difficulties in converting land use purposes for poor households supported to build houses on agricultural land.
Regarding issues beyond their authority, the National Assembly delegates of Lam Dong province pledged to synthesize and report to superiors for consideration and resolution in the coming time.
