The film is set at a death anniversary in the countryside, where five women from different generations and backgrounds gather at the family's ancestral house.

Ngoc Trinh plays Ut Nhu, whose husband comes from a wealthy family but gambles, is in debt and always leaves his wife shouldering billions of dong in debt.

Ngoc Trinh's role is an impulsive, emotional, and hot-tempered woman. Although protected by her older sisters, she is shallow-minded and only sees her sister-in-law Hai Nhi (Viet Huong) as an "ATM" to help her pay off her debts.

Born a country girl, and married because she got pregnant before marriage, Nhu felt guilty for causing her family to lose face. Faced with the questioning and reproaches of her older sisters, Nhu could only get angry and resentful because she could not refute.

Returning to the big screen after nearly 2 years, Ngoc Trinh has a good performance, natural acting. However, some scenes where the character Nhu explodes in anger are not well controlled, and her expressions are still awkward.

On forums, audiences commented that Ngoc Trinh is less experienced than veteran actors such as Viet Huong, Hong Dao, Dinh Y Nhung, Le Khanh but completed the role.

In early February 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court sentenced her to 1 year in prison, but suspended the sentence for disturbing public order. The incident caused a stir in public opinion and damaged Ngoc Trinh's reputation.

Through the events, Ngoc Trinh said she was very nervous and scared when accepting to participate in this project.
