The President's guestbook stated: "I was very moved when I saw the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, World Cultural Celebrity, signed by him and presented to President Gamal Abdel Nasser, a profound testament to the affection between the two leaders; the solidarity and friendship between the people of Vietnam and Egypt. I believe that the values and thoughts of President Gamal Abdel Nasser will continue to be a guiding light for future generations, strengthening the friendly relationship and mutual understanding between countries, including Vietnam."
