(QNgTV) - In order to promptly give gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2nd as directed by the Prime Minister, the State Bank requested banks to ensure a smooth and safe payment system.

The State Bank has sent an official dispatch to commercial banks and foreign bank branches on meeting payment needs for gift giving to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The State Bank requested banks and foreign bank branches to ensure that the payment system operates safely and smoothly 24/7, meeting the need to pay gifts to people in a timely manner during the National Day holiday on September 2.

State-owned commercial banks and banks, foreign bank branches where commune-level People's Committees open accounts shall proactively coordinate closely with local authorities, the State Treasury and relevant agencies in transferring gifts to people, in accordance with the operating hours of the national interbank electronic payment system during the holidays.
