On June 27, Hanoi Moi Newspaper coordinated with Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, Vinh Long Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, Tam Binh District People's Committee to organize a charity program "Connecting humanity, spreading love" to people in difficult circumstances in Tam Binh District, Vinh Long Province.

The program is part of a series of activities of Hanoi Moi Newspaper to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), accompanying the country into a new era.

Attending the program, on the local side, there were: Mr. Le Ngoc Duc - Chairman of Tam Binh District People's Committee; Mr. Le Hoang An - Vice Chairman of Tam Binh District People's Committee; Ms. To Thi Binh - Deputy Head of the Rural Development Department, Department of Agriculture and Environment of Vinh Long province. On the side of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, there was the presence of Mr. Lai Ba Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief and representatives of businesses, schools, and philanthropists participating in the program.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of local leaders, Mr. Le Hoang An - Vice Chairman of Tam Binh District People's Committee highly appreciated the volunteer activities of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and philanthropists to help disadvantaged people in Tam Binh District; At the same time, he emphasized that this is a practical activity with profound meaning, contributing to joining hands to connect kind hearts and spreading the spirit of volunteerism to the community, and disadvantaged areas of Vinh Long province in general.

According to Mr. Le Hoang An, each gift sent by the program partly shares the difficulties with the households; helps bring them faith, determination, spirit and efforts to overcome difficulties, rise up in life for a bright tomorrow.

On behalf of the provincial department and branch leaders, Ms. To Thi Binh - Deputy Head of the Rural Development Department (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Vinh Long province) expressed gratitude, recognition and deep thanks for the kindness and noble gesture of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and the sponsors.

"I hope that in the coming time, Vinh Long province will continue to receive the attention and support of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and philanthropists in social security work, continue to spread mutual love and affection, and noble human values ​​from volunteer activities to support people in difficult circumstances in the province," Ms. To Thi Binh expressed.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Hanoi Moi Newspaper, together with businesses, schools, and philanthropists, organized a program to give gifts of gratitude and share with families in difficult circumstances in Tam Binh district, Vinh Long province.

“Although the gift is not of great value, it is the sentiment of the Capital Party Newspaper staff and benefactors sent to the people. We hope that, with this sharing, the families will have more motivation to overcome difficulties and together build a prosperous and happy life,” the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper shared and sent deep thanks to the sponsors who have always accompanied the Newspaper's charitable activities.

At the program, representatives of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Tam Binh District and sponsors handed over 100 gifts including nutritional products, food, necessities and cash... to people in need.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut (residing in Tuong Tri hamlet, Tuong Loc commune, Tam Binh district) expressed her joy and emotion when she was one of the households receiving meaningful and timely gifts from Hanoi Moi Newspaper. "I don't know what else to say, thank you to the program and the benefactors," Ms. Ut said emotionally.

This year, 85 years old, Mr. Huynh Van Manh (residing in My Hung hamlet, My Thanh Trung commune, Tam Binh district) came to the ceremony early in the morning and was very happy to receive very practical and meaningful gifts from Hanoi Moi Newspaper and accompanying sponsors.

On the side of the accompanying unit, Mr. Nguyen Ly Duc Quan - Director of Nha Be Trading Company (NBT) emphasized: "Accompanying Hanoi Moi Newspaper in this charity program is a practical activity, demonstrating our commitment to the harmonious development between business and society. We hope that the simple but practical gifts will partly help people in Tam Binh district, Vinh Long province overcome difficulties, towards a more stable life".

Sharing at the program, Dr. Le Si Hai - Executive Director of Van Hien University expressed his joy and honor to participate in the program, and highly appreciated the role of Hanoi Moi Newspaper in professional work as well as charity programs organized across the country.

In this charity program, Hanoi Moi Newspaper presented 100 gifts including 100 million VND in cash (1 million VND/gift) and other gifts, with a total value of nearly 400 million VND, to the elderly living alone, children in difficult circumstances - overcoming difficulties to study well; poor and near-poor households in Tam Binh district to share some of the difficulties and hardships in life with the people.

The program's partners include: SunrisesVN Company; Nha Be Trading Company (NBT); Van Hien University; Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry; Western University of Construction; Southern Power Corporation and Fishland Campina Vietnam Dairy Joint Stock Company.
