This is a program to review the 76-year history of the People's Public Security studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings, associated with the 76th anniversary of the tradition of building the People's Public Security force (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2024) and on the occasion of Nghe An Provincial Public Security being honored to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.
Attending the program, the Central leaders included comrades: General To Lam - Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security ; Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Central Party Executive Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Education; Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To - Member of the Central Party Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Central Party Executive Committee, Member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly; Vu Chien Thang - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.
Also attending were comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province; comrades representing the leaders of units under the Ministry, the People's Police School; representatives of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee, the Military Region 4 Command; and generals of the People's Police from Nghe An.
Delegates from Nghe An province included comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
Also attending were former Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and National Assembly Delegation; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; Heads of departments, branches, sectors, socio-political organizations at the provincial level; leaders of 21 districts, cities and towns of Nghe An province.
The program was attended by the Directors of Public Security of the provinces of Hua Phan, Xieng Khouang, Bolikhamxay, Lao People's Democratic Republic; representatives of the Board of Directors of Public Security of the provinces: Lao Cai, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Duong, Quang Ngai, Dak Nong.
The leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police included Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police; along with comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Provincial Police Department Directorate; former comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial Police; Heroes of the People's Public Security Armed Forces...
During his lifetime, Uncle Ho always paid special attention to the People's Public Security force. On March 11, 1948, in a letter to comrade Hoang Mai - Director of the Police Department of Zone XII, President Ho Chi Minh stated six contents on "The qualities of a revolutionary Public Security officer", which are: "Towards oneself, one must be diligent, frugal, honest, and upright/Towards colleagues, one must be friendly and helpful/Towards the Government, one must be absolutely loyal/Towards the people, one must be respectful and polite/Towards work, one must be devoted/Towards the enemy, one must be resolute and clever".
That is both a teaching and Uncle Ho's viewpoint and ideology on ethical standards, principles of action, attitudes and goals of the People's Public Security Force. With that meaning, March 11 every year has become the traditional day of building the People's Public Security Force.
Remembering Uncle Ho's merits, the People's Public Security force always deeply imbues, studies and implements his Six Teachings; this is the "compass" for all activities; it is the great spiritual motivation that creates the achievements and feats of the People's Public Security force.
Born in the revolution, growing up with the revolution, the People's Public Security force has continuously grown in all aspects. At any stage, the People's Public Security force has always demonstrated heroic qualities, steadfastness, taking the interests of the Fatherland and the People as its ideal, devoting all its strength, intelligence and even its life to protect the Party, the State, the socialist regime, and the peaceful and happy life of the People.
In the spirit of the vibrant emulation of the People's Public Security force studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings; under the leadership of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, and the leaders of Nghe An province, generations of officers and soldiers of Nghe An Public Security have always been united and unanimous in overcoming hardships, difficulties, and challenges, and have achieved many feats and outstanding achievements, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, government, and people.
In recognition of these outstanding achievements and feats, on February 7, 2024, Nghe An Provincial Police was honored to receive the President's decision to confer the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces. This is an honor and pride for the People's Police force in general, for generations of Police in Uncle Ho's homeland in particular; as well as for the Party Committee, government and people of the province.
With that meaning, the Art Program with the theme: "Uncle Ho's teachings will shine forever" performed art performances praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country; depicting the portrait of the People's Public Security soldier; further spreading the content, scientific meaning and importance of Uncle Ho's Six Teachings to the police officers, soldiers and the People.
From there, continue to promote studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings in conjunction with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, contributing to building the Party and building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
