In recent days, storm No. 3 (super typhoon Yagi) with very strong intensity has swept into the northern provinces of our country, causing heavy damage to people and property. In the midst of the dangerous natural disaster, the authorities have "rapidly" deployed response plans to the complex developments of the natural disaster, mobilizing tens of thousands of officers, soldiers, militia, thousands of vehicles to directly rescue, ensure traffic safety, evacuate, relocate, search, provide relief, protect people's lives and property. People across the country with all their hearts have turned to the flooded areas, sharing spiritual and material contributions with noble initiatives and actions. In the most difficult moments, the love of the Vietnamese people has touched friends around the world .

In order to spread love and sympathy for the people's losses due to the consequences of storms and floods, and encourage the spirit of resilience in overcoming difficulties, creativity and courage for the common goal, Vietnam Television produced a live TV program "Vietnam's Support Point", broadcast live on the evening of September 15 on VTV3 channel.

Through authentic and touching stories, the program sends the message that "humanity" is our support during storms and floods. Vietnamese people in every position can be a support for their compatriots and the country in difficult times.

Lắng nghe những câu chuyện thực tế từ tâm bão, tâm lũ qua chương trình

Live TV program "Vietnam's Support Point", broadcast live on the evening of September 15 on VTV3 channel.

The program "Vietnam's Fulcrum" will bring real stories, vivid and authentic images from the heart of the storm and flood, where people are facing the pain and devastation of nature.

Guests on the show include representatives of the government and people in disaster-stricken areas; representatives of forces that are working day and night to provide relief to people, and many other forces. Images updated from storm and flood hotspots such as Lao Cai, Yen Bai , Tuyen Quang, and Quang Ninh will help the audience better understand the horror of Typhoon Yagi, which brought severe floods and destroyed thousands of houses and left thousands of people homeless.

The program will also highlight the spirit of selflessness of the armed forces, the government and people in flood-affected areas through interviews, online phone calls and direct exchanges.

One of the important highlights of the program "Vietnam's Support" is to honor the spirit of dedication of rescue forces such as soldiers, police, local authorities, militia and volunteers. A typical example is Captain Nguyen Dinh Khiem - Captain of Company 3, Battalion 1, Brigade 513, Military Region 3, who heroically sacrificed himself while performing rescue missions during storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) in Luc Hon commune, Binh Lieu district, Quang Ninh province.

The soldiers and police officers who sacrificed their lives while on duty not only made us shed tears but also became a great source of inspiration for the spirit of courage and responsibility when the Fatherland needed them. In difficult moments, they went directly to hot spots, when danger still lurked, to help their compatriots. And it was from here that the bravery and intelligence of the Vietnamese people were promoted, many initiatives were born to quickly search for survivors and bring relief goods to those who needed them most.

At the program, the audience will listen to Mr. Ma Seo Chu (33 years old), the 9X village chief of Kho Vang village, Coc Lau commune (Bac Ha district, Lao Cai) recount the brain-wrenching decision, racing against time to bring 115 people up the mountain to avoid the landslide. Or Captain Luc Van Nguyen, an officer of Yen Thuan commune police, Ham Yen district police, Tuyen Quang, jumped into the rushing floodwaters to save the life of an 8-year-old child who was swept away by the flood.

In addition, in the face of losses and difficulties, the spirit of "helping each other" has flared up strongly in the community. Large donations, relief trucks full of food, clothes and necessities; thousands of volunteers present, ready to contribute to help people; organizations and agencies taking care of children orphaned by storms and floods... are also the bright spots that will be mentioned in the program.

During the program, the representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will update the results of contributions from people nationwide and share the goals that need to be achieved to support the recovery of storm and flood consequences, stabilize the lives and production of people in the affected areas.

Although planned and organized in a record short time of 3 days, the program "Vietnam's Support" received the support of leading Vietnamese artists.

In particular, singer Hong Nhung will perform a new composition by musician Vo Thien Thanh called "Giọt nước mắt". This song comes from the author's sympathy for the pain that his people have to go through due to natural disasters. That is also the spirit that runs through the participation of Tung Duong, Van Mai Huong, Dong Hung, MTV group, musician Duong Cam and many other artists...

Musician Quoc Trung, the program's music advisor, will share his feelings with the people in the flooded areas with the song Tre Xanh Lu (Green Bamboo Lullaby) composed by him. The immortal song "Funeral March" by the genius musician Frédéric Chopin will also resound on the program's stage./.
