The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed to focus on ensuring the safety of the dike system during the flood season of 2025.

BAC NINH - Under the order of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Chief of Office Ngo Van Luyen has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 182/UBND-KTN requesting the Department of Agriculture and Environment and People's Committees of communes and wards in the province to focus on ensuring the safety of the dike system during the flood season of 2025.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with localities to inspect and review all dike works and dike protection plans in the whole province; prepare human resources, materials, means and equipment to proactively deploy when incidents and situations occur according to the "4 on-site" motto.

In particular, pay special attention to assigning, decentralizing, and clearly defining the responsibilities of each agency, unit, and individual for implementation; absolutely do not be passive, surprised, or allow interruptions in the process of arranging and organizing 2-level local governments.

Urgently complete the repair and remedy of incidents and damages to dike works in the area according to the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha in Official Dispatch No. 5183/VPCP-NN dated June 11, 2025; report the situation and implementation results to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before July 25, 2025.
