To proactively respond, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue requested localities, agencies and units to continue implementing the directives of the Provincial People's Committee and the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue on proactively responding to the low pressure area in the North East Sea that is likely to strengthen into a tropical depression and focus on responding to the risk of heavy rain, landslides, flash floods, and proactively preventing natural disasters in the coming time...

The Provincial Border Guard Command, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the People's Committees of coastal districts, towns, and cities continue to closely monitor the developments of natural disasters; strictly manage vessels going out to sea. Organize counting and notify owners of vessels, captains of ships and boats operating at sea of ​​the location, direction of movement, and developments of natural disasters so that they can proactively avoid, escape, or not move into dangerous areas.

Proactively ensure the safety of vessels (including boats in coastal communes, nearshore activities, tourist boats, etc.), measures to ensure the safety of people and property of people in coastal areas, on islands, on rafts and aquaculture areas; transport vessels, tourism activities on islands and coastal areas. Prepare forces and means for rescue when required.

Actively review and inspect residential areas along rivers, streams, coastal areas, low-lying areas, and areas at high risk of flooding, flash floods, and landslides to proactively prevent them. Organize the relocation and evacuation of people to safe places when situations arise.

Check and proactively deploy guards, checkpoints, and strictly prohibit people and vehicles from traveling on deeply flooded roads, fast-flowing, underground, overflowing roads, on rivers, streams, and reservoirs. Resolutely do not allow people and vehicles to pass through deeply flooded, dangerous areas, and areas prone to landslides. Check and be ready to deploy measures to drain water, protect production, and prevent flooding.

Notify investors, construction units, especially projects under construction along rivers, on rivers, at sea, in mountainous areas, reservoirs, owners of water transport vehicles, and mineral exploitation units of information about heavy rain to proactively respond and have plans to ensure safety for people, vehicles, equipment, and materials at the construction site.

The Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control also requested the People's Committee of Hoi An City to direct the People's Committee of Cam An Ward and related agencies and units to organize the installation of signs, stringing warning ropes, and delimiting dangerous areas and coastal landslide areas. Proactively review the plan to deploy guards, not allowing people and tourists to enter dangerous areas to ensure safety. Strengthen information and communication so that people and tourists know about the development of landslides and the causes of landslides to proactively take preventive and response measures. Speed ​​up construction progress, ensure safety when natural disasters occur.

Quang Nam Newspaper and Radio - Television, the provincial electronic information portal, and local radio stations inform authorities at all levels, owners of vehicles operating at sea, and people about the developments of natural disasters to proactively prevent and respond.
