Traffic police conduct general inspection and handling of transport business vehicles

(QNgTV) - From now until August 25, the Traffic Police Department will conduct a general inspection and handle all means of transport on both roads and waterways.

The inspection comes from the fact that transport business management in recent times has many loopholes. Control and detection of violations at terminals and yards have not been effective.

According to the plan, traffic police will focus on controlling passenger vehicles with 8 seats or more, vehicles carrying construction materials, container trucks, semi-trailers, large trucks running long routes; vehicles, vehicle owners, crew members, drivers; organizations and individuals doing business in waterway transportation.

Police will also focus on patrolling and controlling key national highways and expressways; steep, winding mountain passes with limited visibility; areas at risk of accidents; and vehicles violating regulations on stopping, parking, picking up and dropping off passengers.
