The Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center helps provide a space to effectively introduce, promote and connect initiatives for Hanoi's development with State management agencies.

On the evening of December 10, the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center was officially launched. This agency is jointly managed and operated by the City People's Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports , the Hanoi Museum and the Architecture Magazine.

The center is located on the campus of Hanoi Museum (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi), including outdoor and indoor exhibition spaces, providing opportunities to display and introduce creative design initiatives and products, and organize many related activities.

Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Hoai Son - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture andEducation affirmed that the establishment of the center shows Hanoi's commitment to UNESCO when participating in the network of creative cities.

“To become a creative city, we need coordination so that creative activities are enhanced, creativity permeates each event and operates sustainably, on that basis we will achieve the highest efficiency,” said Mr. Bui Hoai Son.

This space also contributes to bringing creative ideas and innovative startup projects closer to the support of the government, relevant units and businesses for realization.

Master Bui Thanh Huong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Architecture Magazine said that this is an agency worth looking forward to because it can provide a support platform and regular connection for artists in particular and authors of initiatives for the development of Hanoi in general.

Architecture Magazine (Vietnam Association of Architects) is a companion of the city in the Hanoi Creative Design Festival. With the establishment of the center, this unit is committed to join hands to make the connection more effective and fast.

The Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center was launched after the successful conclusion of the 2024 Creative Design Festival. Lasting for 9 days last November, the festival attracted the participation of nearly 500 units; 1,000 creators including artists, architects, and curators.

With about 110 diverse activities in many locations, the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 attracted more than 30,000 visitors. The organizers assessed this as the most successful festival ever with the number of public participants exceeding expectations.
