After the match, the former Red Devils had an exciting tour in Da Nang city before moving to Hanoi , playing the second friendly match at Hang Day stadium.

Despite the heavy rain pouring down on the capital Hanoi, many fans, including MU fans, were present in the stands to cheer and follow every step of the Vietnamese football legends as well as MU.

When the names of former MU players were announced one by one, from Michael Owen, Teddy Sheringham to Wes Brown, Dion Dublin and Dwight Yorke, Hang Day Stadium was once again in an uproar, showing the great love of Vietnamese fans for the 20-time English champion team.

In the match at Hang Day Stadium, former MU players wore the away kit from the 1998/99 season, the season they won the great treble under the leadership of coach Sir Alex Ferguson.

Yorke and Sheringham were the two witnesses of that season. Yorke scored 29 goals in all competitions and Sheringham scored the equaliser in the 90+1 minute of the Champions League final against Bayern, before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sealed the victory two minutes later.

There is another legendary figure at Hang Day Stadium: Wes Brown, who played regularly as a right-back in the 2007/08 season when MU won the Champions League.

Michael Owen is also a fan favorite. At 45, the former England striker still shows class every time he touches the ball.
