Training in tourism sales and marketing skills

On the morning of October 11, the Department of Tourism opened a training course on tourism sales and marketing skills. Attending the training course were leaders of the Department of Tourism, the Provincial Tourism Association and more than 60 students working at tourism service businesses in the province.

Sales and marketing skills play an important role in promoting and marketing tourism products of businesses. Thereby increasing customer satisfaction, creating profits for businesses. In the context of fierce competition between units, destinations and the rapid development of information technology, improving these skills is very important, deciding the sustainable development of each unit.

In the training course, students were shared knowledge related to sales and marketing skills by senior lecturers specializing in tourism. In particular, they focused on understanding the marketing process in tourism, analyzing weaknesses in Vietnam's tourism competition, and identifying the target audience of their unit. From there, they planned an overall sales approach for the province, the unit, and individuals.

Organizing training courses helps tourism service businesses promptly grasp opportunities for digital transformation and digital marketing. From there, they can develop more effective business strategies and promote tourism services.

The training course took place over 3 days, from October 11 to October 13 at Minh Thiet Hotel, Ninh Binh city.
