Minister of Public Security gives special rewards to outstanding collectives and individuals in the fight against drug cases

Since early April 2024, through professional work, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Ninh Thuan Provincial Police has discovered a network specializing in supplying "crystal" drugs to addicts in the province and has proactively established a project to apply a combination of measures to combat and clarify. Through professional measures and coordination of relevant units, in August 2024, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department investigated and arrested 5 key subjects, discovered and seized more than 700 grams of crystal drugs, many dangerous weapons such as: pistols, Japanese swords, machetes, pepper sprays... of all kinds.

On behalf of the Minister of Public Security , the leaders of the Provincial Police Department presented special awards to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in successfully fighting the case.

Speaking at the ceremony, the provincial police leaders acknowledged and commended the achievements and feats that collectives and individuals have contributed to the successful fight against the above-mentioned drug case. At the same time, they requested that the investigation forces continue to grasp the situation, closely follow the grassroots, strengthen management of areas and subjects, proactively organize attacks and suppress crimes according to topics, routes and types of subjects, not to be passive, surprised, not to let criminal lines and gangs operate, ensure good security and order in the area, successfully carry out the 90-day and night peak of attacking and suppressing crimes, ensuring security and order; compete to complete the tasks and targets of the police work in 2024.
