Hanoi completely bans vehicles on many streets from August 7-10

(Dan Tri) - In order to serve the commemorative activities taking place in Hanoi from August 7 to August 10, Hanoi Police have planned to completely ban and restrict vehicles on many routes.

On the afternoon of August 6, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department announced that from August 7 to August 10, a number of activities will take place in Hanoi to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2, and the For a Peaceful Capital Festival. Hanoi Police will direct traffic and organize directions for vehicles as follows:

Routes completely prohibited for vehicles:

From 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on August 7, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 8, from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 9 and August 10, police prohibit vehicles from traveling on the following routes:

Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Lai (from Ly Thai To to Dinh Tien Hoang) , Le Thach, Dinh Le, Nguyen Xi, Trang Tien (from Dinh Tien Hoang to Ngo Quyen), Ngo Quyen (from Trang Tien to Le Lai) , Ly Thai To (from Tran Nguyen Han to Le Lai);

Hang Khay Street, Le Thai To Street, Hang Dau Street (from Lo Su to Dinh Tien Hoang Street) , Lo Su Street (from Hang Dau Street to Dinh Tien Hoang Street) , Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Tran Nguyen Han Street (from Ly Thai To Street to Dinh Tien Hoang Street) , Luong Van Can Street (from Hang Hanh Street to Le Thai To Street);

Bao Khanh Street (from Bao Khanh alley to Le Thai To) , Hang Bai (from Hai Ba Trung to Hang Khay) , Ba Trieu (from Hai Ba Trung to Hang Khay) , State Bank Square (halfway along the flower garden of King Ly Thai To Monument).

Routes temporarily banned and restricted for vehicles:

From 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on August 7, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 8, from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 9 and August 10, the police temporarily banned cargo vehicles with a cargo weight of 500 kg or more , passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, emergency response vehicles, vehicles with security badges) and restricted private cars and motorbikes from operating on the following routes:

Ngo Quyen Street, Ly Thai To Street, Tran Nguyen Han Street, Nguyen Huu Huan Street, Le Lai Street, Ba Trieu Street, Hang Bai Street, Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Tran Hung Dao Street, Hai Ba Trung Street, Le Thanh Tong Street, Phan Chu Trinh Street, Tran Quang Khai Street, Tran Khanh Du Street, Hue Street, Hang Bong Street, Hang Gai Street, Hang Trong Street, Nha Tho Street, Nha Chung Street, Quang Trung Street.

Hanoi Traffic Police Department said that during the above period, Hanoi City Police will organize directions for vehicles under temporary ban and restriction as follows:

Vehicles from the wards and communes in the East and Northeast of Hanoi (Gia Lam, Long Bien, Phuc Loi, Viet Hung) to the wards and communes in the West and Northwest of the city (Hai Ba Trung, Dong Da, Tu Liem, O Dien)... go through Nhat Tan Bridge, Long Bien Bridge, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Thanh Tri Bridge - go to Dyke 401, Tran Nhat Duat, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien, Vo Chi Cong, Ring Road 3... and vice versa.

Vehicles from the wards and communes in the North of Hanoi city (Tay Ho, Dong Anh...) to the wards and communes in the South of the city (Hoang Mai, Thanh Tri)... go through Nhat Tan bridge, Thang Long bridge - go to Vo Chi Cong, Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung, Ring Road 2, Ring Road 3... and vice versa.

Authorities require all vehicles participating in traffic to voluntarily and strictly comply with the Law on Traffic Safety and Order and follow the instructions and traffic flow of the authorities.
