On the morning of July 22, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the input quality assurance threshold, also known as the "floor score", for the health sector with university-level practice certificates in 2025.
Accordingly, the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores for admission to health majors with university-level practice certificates in 2025 for candidates in region 3 has the minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations of 3 exams/subjects regardless of the exam results of candidates studying the 2018 General Education Program and candidates studying the 2006 General Education Program as follows:
Specifically: Medicine and Dentistry have the highest minimum score of 20.5. The second highest minimum score is Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy, with 19 points or more. The remaining majors have minimum scores of 17 or more.
Thus, compared to 2024, this year's floor score for majors in the health sector has decreased. Specifically, in 2024, the threshold for ensuring input quality for the medical and dental sectors is 22.5 points, the pharmaceutical and traditional medicine sectors is 21 points; the sectors including: Nursing, preventive medicine, midwifery, dental prosthetics, medical testing techniques, medical imaging techniques, and rehabilitation techniques are 19 points.
For the group of university-level teacher training majors in 2025, the input quality assurance threshold is 19 points.
For physical education, music education and fine arts education, the minimum score is 18 points for the combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other combination of admissions are implemented according to the provisions of current admission regulations.
The minimum score for the college-level preschool education program is 16.5 points for the combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other combinations of admission are implemented according to the provisions of the current admission regulations.
