Ministry of Industry and Trade towards the 1st Party Congress

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of July 11, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a press conference to inform about the organization of the 1st Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Hue, Acting Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that the Congress is expected to take place from July 15-16, 2025. This is an important political event, marking a new step in Party building and strengthening the Party's comprehensive leadership role in implementing political and professional tasks of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the entire industry in general.

The Congress will be attended by representatives of the Government Party Committee, representatives of central departments, ministries, agencies, and advisory boards of the Government Party Committee... and 250 outstanding delegates, representing 2,671 party members of 38 party organizations under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

With the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 2025 - 2030 term has the task of summarizing, objectively and comprehensively evaluating the results of leadership, direction and implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of Delegates of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 2020 - 2025 term; deciding on directions, goals, tasks, and breakthrough solutions to lead and direct the industry and trade sector to continue to successfully carry out its tasks in the coming term.

The Congress expressed its determination to contribute to the whole country's successful implementation of the country's development goals by 2030, to make achievements in commemorating the 100th anniversary of our Party's founding (1930 - 2030) and towards realizing the vision by 2045, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945 - 2045).

In the 2020-2025 term, in the context of many major fluctuations in the world and regional economic situation, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has promoted the spirit of solidarity, steadfast political will, high responsibility before the Party and people, leading and directing the entire sector to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of the previous term.

The entire Party Committee has made efforts to fulfill its role as a political nucleus, closely following the leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Government Party Committee to synchronously implement state management tasks in key areas of the industry; leading the industry and trade sector to successfully complete its goals and plans, making practical and important contributions to the country's macroeconomic growth targets.
