The Politburo gives opinions on preparations for the congresses of Party committees directly under the Central Committee.

On the evening of August 19, information from the Central Party Office said that on the morning of August 19, 2025, at the Central Party Headquarters, Working Group No. 3 of the Politburo chaired by Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man worked with the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Attending the meeting were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung; Party Central Committee Secretaries: Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung, General Trinh Van Quyet - Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the working session, the Working Groups listened to and gave their opinions on the draft Resolution submitted to the congress, focusing on the topic, structure, and content of the report; Draft Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Party Executive Committee, mainly on the seriousness and combativeness in self-criticism and criticism of the Party Committee; on innovation in the content and methods of leadership; good experiences, new ways of leadership and direction of the Party Committee...

At the same time, give opinions on the Party Committee's personnel plan, mainly on the personnel preparation process, the number of executive committees, standing committees, and on standards and structures compared to the regulations in Directive No. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo.

Concluding the working sessions, Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results achieved by the Party Committees of the provinces and cities in the recent past.

Highly appreciated the preparation steps that have been implemented methodically, scientifically and thoroughly by the Provincial Party Committee and City Party Committee, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and high determination of the collective Party Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and City Party Committee.

The comrades suggested that the provincial and municipal Party Committees absorb the opinions from the working sessions and the opinions of the agencies to complete the contents of the documents. In particular, it is noted that the orientations in the coming term must closely follow the major orientations of the Central Government and be placed in the context of the country's general development, especially the new opportunities and chances when implementing the 2-level local government model.

At the same time, draw profound lessons from the limitations that have been pointed out to have timely and effective preventive and remedial solutions in the coming term. Focus on building an action program to implement the Congress Resolution, with appropriate task groups, solutions, and feasible roadmap; ensure successful implementation of the Congress's goals and targets, and soon bring the Congress Resolution into life.

Focus on propaganda work before, during and after the congress, ensuring that the congress is a widespread local political activity throughout the entire political system and creates an exciting atmosphere among the people.

According to the Plan, the Politburo will work with the Party Committees directly under the Central Committee to give opinions on the draft documents and the Party Committee Personnel Plan before holding the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with Directive No. 45-CT/TW, dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress to ensure the success of Party Congresses at all levels.

It is expected that the Politburo and the Working Groups will continue to give opinions on the preparations for the congresses of the Party Committees directly under the Central Committee until September 15, 2025.

The time for holding the congress of the Central Party Committee is completed before October 31, 2025.
