In the semi-final match of the 3-cushion carom billiards tournament held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's number 1 player Tran Quyet Chien unleashed a huge series to convincingly defeat Nguyen Chi Long.

On the afternoon of September 7, Tran Quyet Chien faced Nguyen Chi Long in the semi-finals of the 2025 World Vision 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards and Snooker Federation (HBSF). In this match, Vietnam's No. 1 player continuously launched series. This impressive performance also helped Quyet Chien potentially win two additional awards: "excellent series" and "best game".

Tran Quyet Chien won the right to start and entered the game with a 4-point turn. In the following turns, Vietnam's number 1 player suddenly slowed down when he could not score any points. A 21-point series helped Tran Quyet Chien bring the match into halftime, temporarily leading Nguyen Chi Long 25-3.

The last time Vietnam's number 1 player did this in a tournament was in a match against Chiem Hong Thai at the end of 2024.
