Paragliding performance to honor Lang Co Bay as the most beautiful bay in the world

On April 13, Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Loc District (Thua Thien Hue Province), said that the district will organize a program to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Lang Co Bay being recognized as a beautiful bay in the world, from May 10 to 12, with a series of attractive tourism activities.

Accordingly, in May 2009, at the 5th Summit of the Worldbays Club held in Setubal city (Portugal), Lang Co Bay was elected as the 30th member of the club.

After 15 years of receiving this title, Lang Co Bay continues to be invested in and developed, gradually becoming an interesting resort destination on the Central Heritage Route and the East-West Economic Corridor.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Lang Co Bay being honored as a beautiful bay in the world, Phu Loc District People's Committee will organize a series of interesting tourism activities such as traditional basket boat racing on Lap An lagoon, fireworks, Ao Dai performance, floating flower lanterns...

Notably, there was a paragliding performance on Lap An lagoon with the participation of professional pilots from a paragliding club in Da Nang city.

In addition, for the first time, Phu Loc District People's Committee will put into operation Nguyen Van walking street with a view directly overlooking the poetic Lap An lagoon.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang hopes that the upcoming attractive tourism activities will help promote the image of the charming Lang Co Bay to domestic and foreign tourists.
