Bentley Bentayga Speed ​​2026 launched with powerful V8 engine

Bentley introduces the 2026 Bentayga Speed ​​with a 641-horsepower twin-turbo V8, drifting capabilities, chassis upgrades and mildly tweaked design, priced from $296,000.

The 2026 Bentley Bentayga Speed ​​has officially been launched with many notable upgrades. The old W12 engine has been replaced by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with a capacity of 641 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Despite a slight reduction in torque (down 50 Nm), the car still accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 310 km/h.

The car's weight has been reduced by 43 kg (to 2,465 kg), thereby increasing its agility. The chassis system has been refined, adding a Sport driving mode for more responsive feedback and 15% stiffer suspension. The car is supported to drift thanks to ESC Dynamic and the new Launch Control system.

The 2026 Bentayga Speed ​​is not alone in the race for super-powerful SUVs. The Aston Martin DBX 707, Lamborghini Urus Performante, Ferrari Purosangue or Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid all exceed the 700 horsepower mark, forcing Bentley to find a way to "play differently" despite increasing capacity.

Bentley's signature crystal-cut design, this time refined with a dark color to make the car look sportier and more fierce. This is a Matrix LED light that automatically adjusts the light beam according to the situation, avoiding dazzling oncoming vehicles while still ensuring maximum illumination of the rest of the road.

New optional 22- or 23-inch wheels, dark-tinted headlights, transparent taillights and integrated ADAS sensors. Optional carbon-ceramic brakes, standard four-wheel steering all help the 5,500-pound SUV still be as nimble as a sports sedan.

The oval taillight cluster, newly designed with transparent glass instead of traditional red, creates a sharper lighting effect, especially when viewed from behind at night.

The 2026 Bentayga Speed ​​will go on sale first in the UK with prices starting from $296,000.

Bentley also equips carbon ceramic brakes, Akrapovic Titanium exhaust, and standard four-wheel drive.
