The “Understanding and Loving” accommodation was built on the premises of Ninh Thuan General Hospital, with a total value of more than 450 million VND (including cash and in-kind) sponsored by more than 20 organizations, individuals and businesses inside and outside the province. The project has a total usable area of 120m², designed with 2 separate areas for men and women, ensuring a private, safe and convenient resting space for patients’ relatives.

The accommodation's facilities are fully and synchronously invested, including: 50 actual beds (out of a total planned 100 beds), lighting system, 10 ceiling fans, 2 TVs, hot and cold water purifier, personal lockers, phone charging sockets, security cameras and 2 toilets (male - female) with a total area of nearly 20m².

Putting the “Understanding and Loving” accommodation into use contributes to promptly solving the accommodation needs of relatives of patients in inpatient departments, especially departments with long-term treatment such as: Intensive Care - Anti-Poisoning, Interventional Cardiology, Oncology, Nephrology - Urology...; helping medical staff reduce the pressure in supporting relatives of patients to focus on their expertise; enhancing a safe, hygienic and orderly treatment environment. This is also a specific, effective and meaningful step in the process of transforming the hospital model towards a comprehensive, humane and community-friendly direction.
