The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 4:00 a.m. on November 9, the center of storm No. 7 (international name Yinxing) was located in the eastern sea of ​​the North East Sea, about 480km northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.

The strongest wind near the storm center is level 14 (150-166km/h), gusting to level 17. The storm moves in a West Northwest direction, at a speed of about 15km/h.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 7 will be in the North East Sea, about 340km north-northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago, unchanged in direction, speed about 15km/h. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 13, gusting to level 16.

At around 4am on November 11, the storm was about 200km northwest of the Hoang Sa archipelago, changing direction to the southwest, moving about 10-15km per hour and gradually weakening. The strongest wind near the storm's center was at level 11, gusting to level 14.

By 4am on November 12, storm No. 7 will reach the Quang Tri - Quang Ngai sea area, continue moving southwest, about 10km per hour and gradually weaken into a tropical depression. The strongest wind near the center is level 6-7, gusting to level 9.

From the next 72 to 96 hours, the tropical depression will move in the southwest direction, about 10km per hour, and its intensity will continue to weaken.

Due to the impact of storm No. 7, the North East Sea area has strong winds of level 8-11, the area near the storm's eye has winds of level 12-14, gusts of level 17, waves 4-6m high, the area near the eye has waves of 7-9m, and the sea is very rough.

Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.

On the afternoon of November 8, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held an online meeting with localities on response to storm No. 7. Mr. Mai Van Khiem - Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that according to satellite analysis, in addition to this storm, there is also a tropical convergence zone with many disturbances. It is not excluded that disturbances in the distance in the Philippine sea area can form a tropical depression.

These disturbances will continue for the next 10 days. In addition to storm number 7, we may have to deal with more storms soon after.
