DTO - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh commune ( Dong Thap province) has just coordinated with benefactors to organize the handover of 10 Great Solidarity houses to poor households, near-poor households, and households with difficult housing circumstances in the commune.

Accordingly, each house has an area of 40 - 50m2, worth from 55 - 90 million VND. The total cost of building 10 houses is more than 718 million VND. Of which, the Ho Chi Minh City Hometown Charity Group supports each house with 20 million VND, the rest is supported by the local budget and the family's counterpart to make the house spacious.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Hometown Charity Group presented gifts to 10 households receiving houses including: rice, noodles, fans and essential household appliances.
* The Women's Union of Sa Dec Ward has just organized the giving of 300 gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the ward. This is one of the practical activities within the program "Millions of gifts to share love" launched by the Central Union. Each gift is 10kg of rice, with a total value of about 60 million VND, supported by the Women's Union of the ward, nun Thich Nu Nhu Hanh, residing in Sa Dec Ward.
* In Thanh My commune, the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Ho Chi Minh City has just coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Thanh My, Thap Muoi and Truong Xuan communes to organize the donation of 20 wheelchairs to people with disabilities. The total cost is 124 million VND, sponsored by the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Ho Chi Minh City mobilized by Ho Chi Minh City Lottery Company Limited. In addition, when receiving the wheelchair, each person will also receive 100,000 VND in cash from the sponsoring unit.
