On April 8, 2024, Central Retail Vietnam Group held the Handover Ceremony of the Que Village School Project (belonging to Tra Bui Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities), located in Nien Village, Tra Bui Commune, Tra Bong District, Quang Ngai Province.
The project includes: 1 new classroom, 2 upgraded classrooms and a newly built school yard with a total cost of more than 680 million VND; thereby contributing to improving the qualityof education and training at the school with many difficulties, with 100% of students being Kor ethnic people.

The joy of teachers and students at Que village school
Mr. Truong Quang Ky, Principal of Tra Bui Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (PTDTBT TH&THCS), said: Previously, the teaching site in Que village was also invested in by the People's Committee of the district and the Department of Education and Training of Tra Bong district to build 02 classrooms, fences, gates, alleys, and accommodations for teachers. However, after many years of use, the project has seriously degraded. By the end of 2023, with the attention and help of the Central Retail Group's Board of Directors, a budget of more than 680 million VND was supported to build 1 new classroom, 1 new playground and repair 2 old classrooms, fences, gates, alleys for students in Que village.
“This meaningful gift partly shares the common difficulties of the education sector of Tra Bong district and of Tra Bui Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities in particular, helping students have a more spacious and stable place to study. We understand that this gift also contains a lot of affection, love, sharing, empathy, bringing joy to teachers and students here; adding strength and motivation for teachers and students to overcome difficulties to successfully complete the task of teaching and learning”, emphasized Mr. Truong Quang Ky.
Que village school is located about 80 km from Quang Ngai city. This place is considered the most difficult school compared to the other schools.
In order to maximize the utility value of the project donated by Central Retail, the Board of Directors of Tra Bui Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities will launch a movement to decorate classrooms to create a friendly and close learning environment for students; Remind students to preserve and clean the school and promote with parents and residents to jointly preserve the facilities in general and the Project in particular to maximize the long-term utility value of the project.
