The conference announced the decision of the Ministry of National Defense to allow Colonel Huynh Van Dong - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Kien Giang Border Guard Command to retire from work, wait until he reaches the age of military service according to his military rank; cease to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary and cease to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Kien Giang Border Guard Command from April 1, 2025.

The Border Guard Command assigned the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Border Guard Party Committee to Colonel Pham Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the Kien Giang Border Guard Command.
