Bac Ninh promotes waste collection and environmental sanitation towards the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2

BAC NINH - Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch, in Official Dispatch No. 1527/UBND-KTN, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan requested departments, branches, agencies, units, mass organizations and localities in Bac Ninh province to promote waste collection, protect and maintain environmental sanitation nationwide towards the 80th Anniversary of National Day September 2.

Specifically, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province; departments, branches, agencies, units, and localities to organize and launch a movement for the whole people to join hands to protect the environment, participate in general environmental sanitation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.

Implement a movement for the whole people to join hands to protect the environment and hygiene in residential areas and public areas.

Strengthen communication, raise awareness and responsibility of each citizen in environmental protection; propagate and mobilize people to commit and voluntarily and actively maintain environmental hygiene in the house, alley, residential area, public area; do not litter, throw garbage indiscriminately, dump garbage in the right place, at the right time.

Mobilize local socio -political organizations, including the Youth Union, Women's Union, Veterans Association, Farmers' Association... as the core to organize, guide, supervise and implement the movement of the whole people joining hands to clean up and protect the environment in residential areas and public areas.

Direct functional units to collect, receive, classify and process waste promptly, not allowing waste to accumulate, causing unsanitary conditions and environmental pollution, especially in residential areas, public places, tourist areas, streets, village roads, alleys, canals, lakes, rivers and streams in the days before, during and after the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2.

Direct competent authorities to strengthen inspection, supervision, and strict handling of violations of environmental protection regulations, especially littering. Summarize the results of the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 134/CD-TTg dated August 13, 2025 of the Prime Minister in the whole province, and report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before September 15, 2025.

The People's Committees of wards and communes in the province review and arrange garbage collection locations, public trash bins, equipment, and appropriate means of garbage collection and transportation in residential areas, markets, bus stations, schools, entertainment areas, especially at locations where activities and events are held to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of National Day, September 2.

The province's propaganda agencies increase the duration and frequency of news, reports, and typical examples of groups and individuals in maintaining environmental sanitation in Bac Ninh province.
