At 7:00 a.m., Company 13, Battalion 741, Engineer Brigade 25 (Military Region 7) organized a river crossing training on the Dong Nai River. The new and difficult task required soldier Tran Quoc Bao to perform some difficult technical movements, leading to psychological confusion and the risk of insecurity.

Understanding the psychology and difficulties of soldier Tran Quoc Bao, Senior Lieutenant Luong Ngoc Vuong Vung, Political Commissar of Company 13, proactively approached, shared, encouraged, and at the same time supported, trained, and instructed him on professional knowledge. With the closeness, encouragement, and help of the officers, Tran Quoc Bao was calm, confident, and performed the technical movements well. Actively practicing and completing the task well, for many weeks, Bao was recognized by the unit before the flag.

From the effective way of helping soldier Bao, Senior Lieutenant Luong Ngoc Vuong Vung proposed that the Party Committee and the Command of Company 13 establish "Good professional groups and teams" in each platoon to promote the role of cadres, party members and the skills of comrades with high expertise to train and help comrades with limited skills, new soldiers and employees. By doing this, from 2024 to present, Company 13 has always completed its tasks well, trained well, had strict discipline, and had even professional qualifications of cadres and soldiers, promoted their abilities and strengths, and coordinated well to complete tasks in training and working situations.

Depending on the characteristics and tasks, the squads have creative and effective ways of doing things. Taking the company level as the focal point for implementing the model, the units regularly review and classify the qualifications and professional knowledge of officers, soldiers and employees to organize practical training. The squads regularly organize seminars and exchanges on technical expertise and proactively evaluate the results of implementing the model every week, promptly point out the limitations of collectives and individuals, commend typical collectives and individuals, and create a spreading effect.

When carrying out tasks, commanders at all levels thoroughly grasp and assign specific tasks, forecast situations that can easily lead to unsafety; each shift has a responsible officer, closely monitors, inspects, guides, and organizes implementation. From practical tasks, the Brigade focuses on providing in-depth training for 100% of officers, soldiers, and employees on knowledge and practical skills in using explosives, underground tunnel construction techniques; rescue work; organization, methods of arranging, using forces, and construction management; bomb and mine techniques, explosives; techniques and experience in using vehicles, machinery, and equipment, etc.

Captain Nguyen Van Vui, repairman of Company 10, Battalion 278, Engineer Brigade 25 said: "Although my professional level is elementary, with the training and support of the staff and unit, over the past 4 years, I have mastered the techniques, repaired and fixed common failures for 104 vehicles and machines and had the initiative "Drilling machine for soil, rock, creating mine holes in tunnel construction".

Implementing the above model well, over the past 4 years, the Brigade has had 22 initiatives; 100% of cadres have construction qualifications, trained according to the hierarchy, of which over 80% are good and excellent; every year, training in engineering is excellent; construction of works, detection of bombs, mines, explosives, safety, strict discipline.
