In the movie The Last Wish , Avin Lu plays Hoang - a patient with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, diagnosed with only 1 month left to live.
The character wishes to fulfill his wish of "becoming a man" before leaving.

Sharing with VietNamNet , Avin Lu said he was initially worried that the film would be offensive because of its sensitive situations. After the premiere, he "breathed a sigh of relief" and was happy because the work was gentle, emotional, and the 18+ scenes were handled delicately.
The actor considers this one of the most challenging roles in his acting career, requiring him to focus on conveying emotions through his face and eyes.
On the other hand, Avin Lu has a lot of sympathy for the character. According to him, Hoang's wish is not vulgar, but rather innocent and pure.
"Only when Hoang trusted his relatives and friends did he choose to speak out his thoughts and final wishes," the actor said.
In sensitive scenes, Avin was supported by the design team with specialized props. Thanks to mental preparation and script research, the above segment went smoothly.
According to director Doan Si Nguyen, the 18+ element is not intended to shock but comes from a sincere, legitimate desire of the character in his brilliant youth.
This is also an important catalyst to lead the emotional flow throughout the film.

The film marks the reunion of Avin Lu and Hoang Ha after 3 years, since Em va Trinh . In the previous film, Avin Lu played Trinh Cong Son in his youth, and Hoang Ha was one of his "muses".
With The Last Wish , Avin Lu, Hoang Ha and Quynh Ly have a close friendship, going through joys and sorrows throughout their high school years.

The film is a psychological-emotional film, the debut work of director Doan Si Nguyen. Choosing to exploit the elements of family affection and friendship on the journey of maturity of young people aged 18, the film brings closeness and is easy to sympathize with most audiences.
In addition to Avin Lu, Hoang Ha and Quynh Ly, The Last Wish also features actors Tien Luat, Dinh Y Nhung, Quoc Cuong, Meritorious Artist Kieu Anh, Katleen Phan Vo, Hoang Minh Triet... The film opens in theaters from July 4 and has early screenings from July 3.
