This morning, the first exam day for grade 10, 100% of districts, towns and the Youth Union simultaneously launched the program "Supporting exam season" at 201 exam locations, with the message "Be confident, we are with you".

The image of union members and young people working in the sun to “checkpoint” at exam sites has become familiar. This year, the “Exam Support” teams were not only deployed at all exam sites in 30 districts, towns and cities, but also clearly demonstrated the spirit of volunteerism through concrete actions.

With careful preparation, the "Blue Shirt" volunteers guide candidates to the exam room, provide water and pens, and promptly pick up and drop off candidates who forget their documents or arrive late, as well as ensure order and traffic safety in the exam area. Each volunteer is like a silent companion, contributing to reducing pressure and anxiety for candidates and their parents.

From 7am this morning, 400 volunteers from Dong Da District Youth Union and the university were present at 8 exam locations. Each person had a task: Some distributed water, some held umbrellas for the candidates, some talked to encourage their spirit... In particular, many slogans and meaningful wishes were prepared by the volunteers to send to encourage the candidates.

Meanwhile, the volunteer team of Tay Ho district also prepared cakes, candies, fans and other means to support candidates if any situation arises. Specialist of Tay Ho District Youth Union Luong Mai Ngan said: "The volunteers all promoted the spirit of initiative, quickness and the ability to handle flexibly all possible situations to contribute to ensuring the exam took place safely, seriously and effectively."

At the exam site of Xuan La Secondary School, Vice President of the Student Volunteer Club of the University of Electricity Nguyen Dong Phuc said: The student volunteers, each with a task, all put their best efforts to support and encourage the candidates.

Deputy Secretary of Hoan Kiem District Youth Union Dang Thanh Tu said that the District Youth Union organized "Exam Support" at 3 schools: Tran Phu High School, Ngo Sy Lien Middle School, Nguyen Du Middle School, with about 40-50 volunteers at each location and performing tasks during 3 exam days.

Secretary of the Youth Union of Ngoc Lam Ward (Long Bien District) Pham Hung Cuong said: “The training and guidance of volunteers has been implemented since last week. We also prepared raincoats to be ready to support the candidates.”

Waiting for her child at the exam site of Xuan La Secondary School (Tay Ho District), Ms. Vu Kim Hoa shared: "I am very happy to see the green volunteer shirts supporting and helping the exam sites. The children did not hesitate to be present from the time they were about to enter the exam room until the end. Besides the parents accompanying their children, the support of the union members and youth also helped the children feel comfortable and confident to pass the exam."

Mr. Pham Van Thanh (Hoan Kiem district), a parent whose child took the exam at Tran Phu High School - Hoan Kiem, said: "Seeing the young people present from early morning, tirelessly supporting, I clearly felt the kindness and positive energy. This is a shining example for our children."
