Ant International is ready to accompany Ho Chi Minh City in developing digital finance.

At the meeting, Ms. Carrie Suen said that Ant International is one of the world's leading financial technology companies, headquartered in Singapore , currently providing services in 69 countries with more than 1.7 billion users and 90 million businesses . The company focuses on developing the fields of payment , e - commerce , digital banking and new technologies such as AI, big data, blockchain , quantum computing , etc.

Ant International currently has more than 300 employees in Vietnam, mainly in Ho Chi Minh City, of which 95% are highly qualified engineers . The company is cooperating with many strategic partners such as NAPAS , Vietcombank , VPBank , MoMo and Zalo . Ant International representatives proposed cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City in deploying cross-border payment services , developing credit products for small and medium enterprises ( SME lending), as well as building a global high- quality human resource research and training center ( CoE ) in the city .

Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung highly appreciated the cooperation activities of Ant International , and said that Singapore is currently the largest foreign investor in Ho Chi Minh City with a total registered capital of more than 15 billion USD ( as of April 2025 ) . He affirmed that the city always welcomes and creates favorable conditions for international technology corporations to cooperate and invest .

Mr. Nguyen Van Dung emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City is aiming to become the leading economic - industrial - logistics center in the region. The city wishes to cooperate with Ant International in building a controlled testing mechanism ( Sandbox ) for Fintech , developing digital financial human resources , organizing training programs , incubating startups and connecting with the university system and innovation centers .

The Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People 's Committee believes that with its international reputation and experience , Ant International will contribute to attracting more financial institutions to invest in the Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center , thereby promoting the sustainable development of bilateral cooperation .
