'Independence Star' will take place in Saigon, Binh Duong and Vung Tau wards to celebrate National Day September 2

Many famous artists such as Trong Tan, Cam Van, Vo Ha Tram, Huong Tram, Duc Phuc, Giang Hong Ngoc... contributed their voices to the Independent Starlight art program at three locations in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Independent Starlight Art Program is organized by the Organizing Committee for major holidays of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Chi Minh City Television.

The Independent Starlight Art Night will take place at 7:30 p.m. on September 2, broadcast live on HTV1 channel, from three locations including Nguyen Hue walking street (Saigon ward), Binh Duong ward park (Binh Duong ward) and Tam Thang square (Vung Tau ward).

This is one of the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The event marks a meaningful milestone when Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau will be under one roof from July 1, 2025.

According to the organizers, the Independent Star Art Program is not only a night of art enjoyment but also a tribute to previous generations, while also arousing national pride in every Vietnamese person.

The event also has topical significance when Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau become a regional megacity.

Each locality plays a strategic role: Ho Chi Minh City is the center of finance, services, science - technology and culture. Binh Duong is the nucleus of smart industry, logistics and creative culture. Ba Ria - Vung Tau is the hub of international seaports, energy and marine tourism.

Attending the music night at the connecting locations were singers: Trong Tan, Cam Van, Hien Thuc, Ho Trung Dung, Vo Ha Tram, Thanh Ngoc, Ta Quang Thang, Anh Tho, Huong Tram, Duc Phuc, Giang Hong Ngoc, circus actors Phuoc Hien - Thanh Hoa, Lac Viet group, Sen Viet group, Viet Hai dance troupe... especially artist Le Thien.

Songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and love for the homeland will be renewed and re-arranged, promising to bring many emotions to the audience.

The organizers said the highlight of the Independent Starlight art program is the blend of modern technology and traditional art, creating an emotional performance space.

Immediately after the program ends at 9:00 p.m. on September 2, there will be a 15-minute fireworks display at all three locations.
