After the final round of the Quang Nam Startup Talent Search Competition 2024, 45 projects were recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as provincial-level creative startup projects/ideas. The Organizing Committee also selected 15 Encouragement prizes, 8 Third prizes, 5 Second prizes and 2 First prizes.
The First Prize went to two projects: LACO - Local service connection application by Mr. Ha Nhat Anh (Tam Ky City) and Freeze-dried yogurt by Ms. Tran Thi Minh Thuy (Nui Thanh).
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Pham Ngoc Sinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology - Head of the Provincial Startup Support Executive Board said that the 5th Provincial Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 was organized into 2 series of events. From May 15 to 17, seminars and forums were held, attracting thousands of guests and delegates from provinces across the country and representatives of countries around the world .
From June 6 to 9, the event of displaying, introducing products and promoting trade took place at 24/3 Square (Tam Ky City) with 430 booths, from 18 provinces and cities nationwide, 4 associations, 3 colleges, universities and 18 districts, towns and cities in the province.
"TechFest Quang Nam 2024 has ended but opened up many issues, especially spreading the entrepreneurial spirit, affirming Quang Nam as an open land for startups. We hope that projects will see this as an opportunity to exchange, learn and continuously improve their projects to develop further and contribute to society" - Mr. Sinh said.
