Exporting nearly 22 tons of fresh coconuts through Bac Luan II border gate

Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs has just cleared nearly 22 tons of fresh diamond-shaped peeled coconuts for official export to China via Bac Luan II bridge border gate.

The shipment was exported by Quan Minh Investment Joint Stock Company to its partner Guangxi Weixinda Supply Chain CO.,LTD, including 2,190 cartons (9 fruits per carton), with a total weight of 21,900 kg. The coconuts originated from Ben Tre province, with growing area code VN-BTOR-0188 and packaging code VN-BTPH-064.

This is the first batch of fresh coconuts exported here in 2025 and the second batch since 2024 when Bac Luan II border gate officially completed export procedures for fresh coconuts.

Fresh coconut shipment exported through Bac Luan II border gate

Previously, on October 25, 2024, a shipment of 2,430 packages (21,870 fruits, equivalent to 23.5 tons) was exported by Hai Ninh Import-Export Service Trading Company Limited to Mekong Fruit Import-Export Company Limited (Ben Tre), with the import partner being Dongxing Huawang Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd (China) through Bac Luan II border gate.

According to the Vietnam Coconut Association, in 2024, fresh coconut for drinking water will reach an export turnover of 175 million USD. This fresh coconut shipment was cleared smoothly through Bac Luan II - Mong Cai border gate, affirming the effective exploitation of the export potential of this item. Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs is committed to continuing to accompany businesses, facilitating trade, contributing to promoting the official export of agricultural products, especially high-value fresh coconut products, in line with international consumption trends.
