This cake is not just a dish but a work of art, taking viewers into the wonderland of the fairy tale Alice.
Previously, Ha Hai also won a gold medal with a perfect score of 100 points in the international baking competition called The Vietnam Bakery Cup 2024 held in Ho Chi Minh City.
Bringing fairy tales to international baking competitions
Looking at the Wonderland cake, you can see each character, tree, flower, and house decorated in detail and vividly.
To make them, Ha Hai and his colleagues spent hundreds of hours working hard to perfect every smallest detail.
Ha Hai said she spent two weeks watching the movie and researching each stage and character. It took her three months to create this image: "The cake is a reminder that we always have the right to choose to create our own fairyland."
Ha Hai added that Alice represents curiosity, courage, and the part of each of us that is innocent, yet always ready to step into the unknown to discover ourselves. In contrast, the Red Queen represents power, imposed order, and arbitrary control.

In this fantasy world , their confrontation serves as a metaphor for the inner journey: between freedom and conformity, between imagination and reality.

From finance officer to fairy tale-loving baker
Ha Hai is 35 years old this year. Before becoming a baker, she worked in finance.
To reduce stress from dry numbers, Ha Hai learned to bake and has been involved in this profession for more than 10 years.

Now she has a bakery in District 7, specializing in making cakes according to customers' requests.
Ha Hai happily said: "My customers are many children. Children love fairy tales and want to express that love on their birthday cakes.
I meet the needs of young customers, as a way to help them have a little more joy."
Ha Hai has only participated in 2 international baking competitions and won gold medals in both.
She said there were times when she felt like Alice in Wonderland - a place full of challenges, pressures, and strange rules. "But it was also that journey that forced me to grow up, to believe in myself, and to be stronger than I ever thought I could be.
By participating in the international baking competition, I want to prove to the world that Vietnam does not lack talented people, even in baking," she said.
