Mail truck burned down on the road

On the morning of August 25, Quang Ngai Provincial Police said that a mail truck suddenly caught fire while traveling on National Highway 1 through Tu Nghia Commune. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Initial information, at around 8:00 p.m. on August 24, at Km1061+700 National Highway 1, through An Nghia village, Tu Nghia commune ( Quang Ngai ), a mail truck with license plate 29K-057.XX, driven by Nguyen Thanh T (born in 1978, residing in Quang Tri province), caught fire while traveling from North to South.

The truck burst into flames on Highway 1.

Quang Ngai Fire Police force tried to extinguish the fire.

Discovering the fire, the driver quickly stopped the car far from the house and urgently got out of the car to call the Fire Police and Rescue Police of Quang Ngai Province.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force dispatched 2 fire trucks and 14 officers and soldiers to the scene to perform their duties. The Traffic Police and Tu Nghia Commune Police were also present at the scene to direct traffic and coordinate the implementation of the fire fighting plan. By 9:00 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished.

Authorities initially determined that the first fire started inside the truck. The cause of the fire and specific statistics on the damage caused by the fire are still being verified and clarified.
