Postal truck catches fire on Da Nang - Quang Ngai highway

(Dan Tri) - While traveling on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai highway, a postal truck suddenly caught fire, burning many of the goods contained in the vehicle's container.

On the afternoon of October 27, the authorities of Quang Ngai province received the investigation and clarified the cause of the fire of a postal vehicle on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai highway.

Previously, at around 3:30 p.m. the same day, a postal express delivery vehicle with license plate 50H-430.xx driven by driver N.D. (30 years old, residing in Quang Ngai province) was traveling on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway when reaching km113 (in Quang Ngai province) and suddenly caught fire.

Discovering the fire, driver D. pulled the car to the side of the road and called the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai Province Police dispatched 3 vehicles and 19 officers and soldiers to the scene to handle the fire.

At 4:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was extinguished by a professional fire fighting team.

At the scene, the fire spread and burned black above the postal container, many damaged goods were piled up on the highway surface.

The total damage of the fire is being tallied by relevant parties.
