Attending the ceremony were members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee; Standing Committee of the People's Council; leaders of the People's Committee; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Mo, Yen Tu, Dong Thai, Yen Mac communes, Yen Thang ward; leaders of departments, agencies, unions, public service units, cadres, civil servants, residential groups of Yen Mo commune; families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution, people, monks, nuns, and Buddhists.
Yen Mo Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of 1,350 martyrs, the outstanding sons of the homeland who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the People.
Delegates respectfully offered incense and flowers in memory, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs and affirming that the names and noble sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers will live forever with the country, the people.
The memorial service is an opportunity to educate the young generation about patriotism, humane living, and to appreciate the noble values of the historical traditions of the homeland and country, thereby promoting the good morality of "repaying gratitude", and being determined to study and practice to be worthy of the glorious traditions of previous generations.
