Shooting in Baltimore (USA), 30 people injured and killed

On July 2, according to CNN, the Baltimore City Police Department (in Maryland, USA) said a shooting occurred in the South Baltimore area on the night of July 1 (local time) causing at least 30 casualties.

The shooting left at least two people dead and 28 injured. The people were attacked while hundreds gathered for an event called “Brooklyn Day” in the 800 block of Gretna Avenue. The victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Fox 45 Baltimore news channel quoted a witness as saying he heard 20 to 30 shots fired at the scene.

Baltimore police said they are mobilizing all resources at their disposal to find the perpetrator.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
