Vu Thu: Total production value in the first 6 months of 2025 increased by 10.38%

Since the beginning of the year, despite a high focus on the arrangement of departments, offices, and units under the district and the implementation of the consolidation of the two-level local government apparatus according to the policies of the Central and the province, Vu Thu district has still ensured the effective implementation of socio-economic development tasks. The total production value in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated at 7,910 billion VND, an increase of 10.38% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is estimated at 1,725 billion VND; industry and construction is estimated at over 4,377 billion VND; trade and services are estimated at over 1,807 billion VND. Site clearance continues to receive strong attention and direction. Site clearance for the Southern Ring Road is completed and handed over to the construction unit; the investment project to build a high-tech biological experimental area of Thai Binh province in Minh Quang commune is handed over on site. At the same time, high focus is placed on key projects such as: the project to build provincial road 454 (road 223), section from Thai Binh city to Sa Cao bridge; An Phu housing project, Song An - Trung An. The fields of culture, education and health continue to receive attention and improve quality. Political security, social order and safety in the area are ensured, national defense is firmly consolidated.
