The case of a female 11th grade student being beaten by a group in Thanh Hoa: The defendants are still going to school

(Dan Tri) - Although the police investigation agency has prosecuted the defendant, the 6 students who beat a female 11th grader in Thanh Hoa still go to school as usual.

On January 8, Mr. Dang Van Hung, Principal of Nong Cong 2 High School, Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province, said that the police are investigating the case of a female student LVGN (class 11A6) being beaten by a group of students, resulting in a neck injury.

According to Mr. Hung, although 3 months have passed since the incident, the 6 students involved are still going to school normally.

"The school has not received any notice from the police and the prosecutor's office. These students are still attending school as usual. Previously, the school had temporarily suspended them from school. When law enforcement agencies summon them, the school will cooperate," Mr. Hung said.

Mr. Le Van Thanh said that his daughter is continuing to receive treatment for a neck injury. Due to her unstable health, the family has requested to reserve her academic results and allow her to take a year off from school.

Previously, on October 5, 2024, a group of students from Nong Cong 2 High School had a conflict and invited each other to Thai Son village, Tan Phuc commune, Nong Cong district to resolve the conflict.

The LVGN female student intervened when she saw a friend near her house being beaten, but was then attacked and injured by Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Thi Giang, Hoang Thi Huyen Trang, Vu Le Tram (all 17 years old), Nguyen Thi Anh, and Le Phuong Dung (all 16 years old).

Through investigation, the police determined that the group of students who beat N. were studying at Nong Cong High School and Nong Cong 2 High School. The results of the examination showed that female student N. suffered 23% health damage.

On December 9, the Investigation Police Agency of Nong Cong District Police issued a decision to prosecute Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Thi Giang, Hoang Thi Huyen Trang, Nguyen Thi Anh, Le Phuong Dung, and Vu Le Tram for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury.
