According to BGR , some believe this is because Apple may finally bring 8K video recording to its flagship phones. However, it's possible that Vision Pro is the reason Apple plans to double the storage to 2TB on the iPhone 15 Pro.
Apple is preparing everything best to wait for the day Vision Pro hits shelves.
As for Vision Pro, one of the most exciting features on the product is the spatial photos and videos, which will let users relive memorable moments on a spatial computer. But Vision Pro may not be the only Apple product that will take magical photos and videos in 3D space. The improved LiDAR scanner expected to appear on the iPhone 15 Pro could be the impetus for Apple to capture spatial photos and videos. The quality of photos and videos taken from the current iPhone is pretty good, but adding the ability to capture spatial photos and videos to the upcoming iPhone would round things out.
The rumored 2TB internal storage coming to the iPhone 15 Pro models is entirely possible as these recordings will require more space than Live Photos.
While the Vision Pro won’t be released until early next year, Apple is really looking to build an ecosystem that will motivate owners of this version of the space computer.
