Vinh Long awarded the Youth and Children's Creativity Contest

At the ceremony, 42 provincial-level award-winning works were recognized and rewarded. There were 2 first prizes, 7 second prizes, 9 third prizes and 24 consolation prizes. The Organizing Committee selected 20 products to participate in the 20th National Youth, Adolescent and Children's Creativity Competition in 2024.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Vinh Long province has 10,248 products competing in all three grades. In April 2024, primary and secondary schools awarded 632 school-level prizes, and selected 952 products to compete at the district level.

At the provincial level, the Organizing Committee established a council and selected 218 products, an increase of 15 products compared to the 2022-2023 school year; of which 42 works were of high quality.

The authors won first prize in the contest.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's entries have many new and creative products, especially those that can be applied to serve life and contribute to solving current issues such as smart devices in the home: Fire alarms, burglar alarms, salt water problems, drowning in children, items that contribute to promoting local tourism ...

The Organizing Committee hopes to receive more attention and support from departments, branches and localities in the province, and to connect with businesses to support candidates in completing and commercializing their products. At the same time, connect with the province's creative startup program so that the products can be applied to production and life.

The People's Committee of Vinh Long province commended collectives and individuals who had outstanding achievements in organizing the 13th Vinh Long Province Youth, Adolescent and Children's Creativity Contest, school year 2023-2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh emphasized that the contest products of the students may not be completely perfect, but they are ideas that demonstrate a serious learning process, independent thinking ability, love of science and passion for creativity, demonstrating a sense of responsibility to the community.
